Worth the drive! I wanted egg drop soup and used the Yelp app to find a nearby place. Except I didn't realize that there was a road closed, the one I need to get there. It took twice as long to back track, but at this point I was going to get there since I had heard good things.
It's a small place next to a gas station. I was worried when I pulled up, but it was handicap accessible and I had no issue getting my aunt inside.
We got got a quart of egg drop soup and I got crab rangoon and wow, it was the best I have ever had! They cooked it fresh and it was so soft and flavorful and the crab was warm and gooey. It was perfect.
I hope that road gets done soon. The GPS wanted me to go that way home. Ha. It was sad how I saw I was right there on the other side and couldn't get across. This will be a great lunch after my aunt's doctor who is close by. We both love egg drop soup!
So many people came in to get orders while we were there! It was a pretty busy to go place. I know I would frequent a lot if I lived close. -

Wow this place is delicious! You would never guess from the location, but don't judge a book by its cover (as they say). We called ahead and our food was ready to go in 10 minutes. The dining area is unusually small so I recommend this as a to-go place only.
We had the beef and broccoli and the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. SO GOOD! And the crab rangoons were phenomenal. Order extras because you will want them! -

I decided to give this place another try and was glad that I did. Maybe they changed up the food, I dunno, but I found it to be one or two clicks above the typical Chinese food joints around town. The crab rangoons looked tiny and empty but I was quite surprised to see they were filled up with tasty sweet crab and cream cheese. The fried rice was above par and was served up hot and fresh.
Not an exceptional experience because all the windows were covered in grime and lots of inventory boxes were stored in the dining room. -

Golden Dragon delivers exactly what you'd expect for a carryout place. Is it gourmet food? Absolutely not. It's just fast, hot, tasty Chinese-American food. The vegetables are fresh and the meat is tender. They work fast and we find ourselves there a couple of times a month. Our favorites are the Singapore noodles, cashew chicken, and hunan beef, although I can't say we've ever been disappointed in a dish they have served. Prices are reasonable.

Highly recommend!! Delicious lo Mein, yummy rangoons, and high quality proteins. The food is always hot and fresh and they always have a quick turnaround time. The only downside is that they don't deliver, but I would definitely say that this is my favorite Chinese restaurant on the west side.
